Dong Lai Bao Bei

This is an integrated HealthTech platform designed to empower novice parents by transforming fragmented newborn health data into actionable pediatric insights through an AI-powered ecosystem. By seamlessly bridging the gap between automated health tracking, community support, and data-driven e-commerce, the project effectively reduces parenting friction while establishing a robust business-to-consumer value chain.

Situation

Modern dual-income parents face immense pressure and information overload when managing newborn health. Traditional manual tracking is often inconsistent and fragmented, leading to a "data gap" that hinders effective medical consultations and early development monitoring.

Task

The goal was to design a comprehensive, high-engagement HealthTech ecosystem. Key objectives included:

  • Lowering Barriers: Eliminating the friction of manual data entry to encourage consistent tracking.

  • Data Transformation: Turning raw growth data into a structured "Gene & Health Database" for professional medical reference.

  • Commercial Synergy: Seamlessly integrating a dedicated mall and community features to foster long-term user retention.

Action

  1. Strategic Research: Utilized the Double Diamond model and Golden Circle framework to conduct deep-dive research with 30+ participants. I performed a Competitive Audit of 6 major players to identify a market gap in "Integrated Growth Milestone Tracking."

  2. Innovative Solutioning: To address the "tracking fatigue" identified in my User Personas, I conceptualized an AI-powered Photo Recognition feature, allowing parents to capture height and physical metrics instantly via the camera.

  3. Ecosystem Design: Mapped complex User Flows to ensure a seamless transition between health logging, community sharing (generating milestone cards), and the mall (unlocking rewards). This created a rewarding feedback loop for the user.

Result

  1. High-Fidelity Execution: Delivered a full-scale design solution within an intensive 8-week timeline, covering everything from branding to high-fidelity UI.

  2. User Validation: Usability testing confirmed that the AI automated input significantly increased users' willingness to log data daily, while the intuitive interface reduced cognitive load for busy parents.

  3. Business Viability: Successfully established a data-to-commerce model that earned high praise from clients for its clear monetization strategy and social value.
